These terms apply to goretrofitlabs.com and everything on it, including the booking system and job applications. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. They're written in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
Retrofit Labs builds AI tools and implements AI for businesses, with consulting on the side. We're based at 36 Executive Park, Suite 200, Irvine, CA. You can reach us at [email protected] or (949) 691-0086.
Information on this site
Our articles, glossary, checklists, FAQ and other pages are general information. They are not legal, financial, tax, compliance or other professional advice, and they aren't a promise of any particular result. Every business is different, so talk to a qualified professional before you act on anything here.
We work to keep the site accurate and current, but we can't guarantee that every page is complete or up to date. Product descriptions explain what our software does today and may change as we improve it.
Booking a call
Calls booked through the site are free and carry no obligation on either side. A call does not create a client relationship. Any paid work is covered only by a separate written agreement that both sides sign, and that agreement controls if it conflicts with these terms.
Please give accurate details when you book, and keep your booking link private, because anyone with the link can change or cancel the call. We may cancel or decline bookings that look automated, abusive or unrelated to our services.
Job applications
Applying for a role doesn't guarantee an interview or an offer, and it doesn't create an employment relationship. Please only upload a resume and information that are your own and accurate. How we handle your application is explained in our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Send spam, fake bookings or fake applications, or try to get around our spam and rate limits.
- Probe, scan or test the site's security, or try to reach the admin area, without our written permission. If you think you've found a security problem, email us and we'll work with you.
- Copy large parts of the site, or scrape it in a way that slows it down for others.
- Upload malicious files, or use the site to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
Our content
The text, design, logos, product names and software on this site belong to Retrofit Labs or the people who licensed them to us. You're welcome to read, share links to, and quote short parts of our articles with credit and a link back. Please ask before republishing anything in full or using our name or logo.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites, including live sites we've built for clients, partners' sites and third-party tools. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will always be available or error-free.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Retrofit Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of this site. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. This section does not change the terms of any signed client agreement.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
